2011 MacBook Air Announced, Full Specifications

Apple has finally announced the new 2011 MacBook Air, and they will come with the latest version of Apple’s OS, OS X Lion,  as with the previous versions there is an 11 inch MacBook Air and a 13 inch MacBook Air.
Both models now feature Intel’s Thunderbolt technology, and the 11 inch model comes with a choice of either a 1GHz dual core Intel Core i5 processor or a 1.8GHz dual core Intel Core i7 processor, Apple has also added a backlit keyboard for all models of the MacBook Air.





You also get a choice of SSD storage with the base model featuring a 64GBSSD and the top model featuring a 128GB SSD as standard which can be upgraded to a 256GB SSD.
Other specification include 2GB of DDR3 RAM as standard which can be upgraded to 4GB, Intel HD Graphics 3,000, a FaceTime camera, two USB 2.0 ports, a Thunderbolt port, WiFi, Bluetooth and a pair of stereo speakers.
Next up is the 13 inch MacBook Air which comes with a choice of either a dual core Intel Core i5 1.7GHz processor or a dual core Intel Core i7 1.8GHz processor, up to 256 GB of SSD storage, up to 4GB of RAM, and Intel HD graphics 3000.
Both models of the new 2011 MacBook Air are now available from Apple, with the 11 inch version starting at $999 and the 13 inch version starting at $1,299.
