Innovative Mouse Design Utilises Disk Drive Space

A new an innovative mouse design has been entered into this years Sparks Concept Design Awards, that utilises the normally unused space within a laptops disk drive.
The Disk Mouse has been designed to be exactly the same size and shape of a CD or DVD disk so that when its not being used the Disk Mouse can remain stored in an unused disk drive. The innovative moues design has been created by product designer Seung Han Jung.

When required the disk is simple ejected from the disk drive and then forms a 3D mouse to fit in the palm of your hand and provides the same functionality as a cumbersome desktop mouse would. I’m not sure how the mouse or your hand would cope with extended periods of use but the idea of utilising the disk drive space is fantastic. You can view more innovative design entires in this years Sparks Concept Design Awards on the official website.
